| The company started in 1980 as a two-person operation
from a home based office. Within a year OCS had to rent additional outside
office space. Three years later they had operating functions in four close,
but separate locations. "We soon discovered we had a need to pull things
together,” Mr. Stoetzer, President of OCS said, "so in 1987 we purchased
and consolidated operations in one facility in Eldersburg, Maryland.”
In the 13 years at that location, two additions to the facility were made.
"As we continued to grow," Stoetzer said, "we again saw the need to make operations even more efficient by moving to a more modern facility. Our clients have been loyal and we knew we wanted to insure we had the resources in which to expand. Thus, in October of 2000, we moved into a new building, which was able to better warehouse our printing and mail processing equipment more efficiently. It also greatly improves our office and training facility needs, from which to operate all of our computer related and marketing tasks."Also in 2007 we opened a small satellite operation in South Carolina. OCS has been blessed with many loyal and dedicated employees over the years, starting with Diana Stoetzer, Don’s wife. As Executive VP she directly oversees the Financial functions and has been with OCS from the beginning. Heather James, is our VP of Operations, she has been with the Company for over 6 years (however, since she is the daughter of Don and Diana she really has been here for life!). Glenn Lamberson is our Warehouse Supervisor and he has been with us for over 16 years. Mary Woke, is now in our South Carolina Office as Regional Sales Associate, and she has been with us for 20 years. There are many dedicated employees, in various other departments, i.e. Accounting, Data Processing, Graphic Design, Copy Writing, Marketing, Client Services, List Maintenance, Data Entry, Postal Coordination, Printing Services, etc. Without their devoted efforts we could not be the effective and efficient force we are today. The OCS staff is friendly, dedicated, knowledgeable and always ready to help. In addition to our management and office staff we maintain a small, but highly experienced staff of outside Sales Consultants. Each of these Sales personnel has from 20 to 35 plus years of direct experience in the Emergency Service field, since that is one of our primary product services. Our friendly and knowledgeable in-house Sales oriented personnel are ready to assist our clients in person when possible and obviously they are always available via phone, fax or e-mail. Our outside Sales Consultants are available to visit clients in the respective territories they cover. OCS will continue to service the special needs of each of our clients with creative ideas, customized formats and tried and true concepts.
